Rescue Breathing
The ratio for rescue breathing in adults is one breath every 5-6 seconds and for infants and children it is one breath every 3-5 seconds. If there is an advanced airway, the ratio is one breath every 6-8 seconds and do not pause the chest compressions.

Choking
If an adult is choking, perform abdominal thrusts until the object comes out or the patient becomes unconscious. If they become unconscious, start CPR immediately. If a baby is choking perform 5 back blows and 5 chest thrusts.
